Recent Emmy nominees Danielle McBride and Tyler Whitham join the podcast to discuss their roles as supervising sound editors on the sci-fi comedy Murderbot. Building the sonic world of a brand new sci-fi series is just about every sound person’s dream gig. What does a giant two headed monster centipede sound like? What about spaceships with futuristic propulsion systems? These are some of the puzzles that needed to be solved for Murderbot.
