229 – Doc Kane

In this episode Doc Kane tells us about his illustrious career as the main voice and ADR recordist at Disney Studios in Burbank California. He also talks about how he runs a session, which microphones he likes and lots more.

This episode was volunteer edited by Rainer Lilischkis.  He did a wonderful job and was great to interact with.  Rainer is a science engineer by day and a sound-artist and freelance engineer as a side job. He’s based in south-west Germany and together with his wife Susanne, they have worked on documentaries, radio plays, and sound installations.

    I worked with Doc years ago and always remember his kind words, affable manner and GREAT STORIES. Thanks so much for this interview. Wonderful to hear him again – he is one of the greats.
