In our first of 3 episodes focused on Sound Design for Documentaries, we talk to the sound team & director of the NatGeo Doc – Fire Of Love. Sound Designer Patrice Leblanc and Re-Recording Mixer Gavin Fernandes talk about working with the film’s Director, Sara Dosa, to create the sounds of the many volcanos in the film. Most of the film is built from archive footage that was originally shot without sound. Leaving the audio team a heavy workload to help bring the images to life.
