Timothy and Teresa were recently in Montreal and gathered some of the city’s top SFX recordists and curators to sit down and talk with us. We discuss every aspect of the process of releasing a SFX library for sale, from initially recording the sounds all the way to metadata and distribution strategies. If you were ever thinking about putting out your own SFX library this is a goldmine of information.

Stéphane Fufa Dufour: Stéphane is the person behind the SFX library Articulated Sounds and the great blog Soundxplorer. He has traveled all around the world to capture sounds. Follow Stéphane on Twitter or Instagram.
Mélanie Gauthier: Mélanie toured parts of the world as both a sound field recordist and sound editor for over 20 years, stockpiling ambiences, sounds and music FX from the Americas, Asia, Australia, Africa and even the Arctic!
