Great Podcast, sounds really great.
It must have been a insane day.
Any chance this library is going to be available or does Six Flags have an exclusive.
Keep up the great work

I’m pretty sure that Judge Roy Scream is a reference to Judge Roy Bean, an old Western judge who made his own brand of law and who was played onscreen by Paul Newman in the film The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.
Super interesting!
Just one thing I didn’t really understand: why would it be a mistake to position a mic on a rollercoaster cart so that it needs wind protection? Would that apply to car and similar recordings too?
Thanks for the great podcast!
Hi Matias,
the problem with putting mics out in the wind is that you’ll never protect them enough to diffuse the crazy wind speeds that would hit them. A blimp is good for 10-15mph worth of wind, but if you fix a mic in a blimp to the side of a car and roll that guy at 60mph you’ll record nothing but noise.
The better option is always to place the mic in a spot where the vehicle itself is doing the heavy wind blocking for you.
