    Hey Rene,

    Great episode as usual.

I had a similar situation last spring when the teachers union in Los Angeles was staging a massive protest downtown. My wife, who teaches in the district, gave me the details and I picked her up after school with my Schoeps M/S rig raring to record thousands of teachers chanting. The turnout was excellent, around 15,000. Unfortunately for me, the organizers issued each and every one of them a hand clacker novelty toy, so it was nearly impossible to record chants without getting a ton of HF clicking in the track! Towards the end of the protest, I got some pretty good unison responses when everyone was listening to the union president thankfully.

Also, I wonder if a couple of the might let you get a true ORTF rig in the Rycote M/S zeppelin.

Sorry, the last little bit was supposed to read:

Also, I wonder if a couple of the Schoeps GVC Swivel adapters might let you get a true ORTF rig in the Rycote M/S zeppelin.

I realise I’m a bit late to the party here, but I’m just curious if there is any way to still get hold of the recording? The segments in the podcast sounded amazing.
I’ve just recently discovered Tonebenders, and am extremely glad I did. You guys have presented so much valuable advice and discussion, and really helped stoke the fire of my love of sound.
Many thanks. Keep up the great work.

    Hi Rene,

I’ve only just found your Podcast in the last few weeks and just listened to this one today. Absolutely loving the show. I’ve been working my way through the back catalog.

Is there any way to get this recording still? Or is it gone for ever?

    Thanks a lot!

    – Pete
